Law and Disorder
The Jerusalem Post reports that PA president Mahmoud Abbas was forced to cancel a campaign against Qassam rockets after the rocketmen refused to cooperate. Feel free to note discomforting parallels from this recent report in The Guardian.

When the Arabs are not suffering a humiliating defeat in a battle they consider such a battle to be their victory, their rulles of war permit deliberate killing of Israeli civilians, their whole victory is just that, in all the encounters between the IDF troops and hisballa operatives they (hisballa) were defeated, their losses ratio is 8 to 1. So if that is a victory what would be a defeat? I'm not surprised, though, that the Guardian is celebrating the 'victory' with the Arabs.
