Yet they are the ones who get quoted. Always. I am British, a citizen of England in the United Kingdom and i am appalled at the comments made by George galloway regarding organ harvesting this is just typical of someone who can do an impersonation of a cat with a saucer of milk on a british reality tv show named big brother, the man is ignorant of the truth, devoid of knowledge of what the real situation is like in Israel and like the cat he inpersonates he should get his head up instead of licking his own ---- i absolutely despair and feel deeply saddened by the distorted news coverage regarding any mention of israel;nowhere do you see any debate or acknowledgement of the amazing contributions this brave,stoical and besieged nation makes to global life;from rose farming in ecuador to breakthroughs in medical technology.. How does a man like Goerge Galloway even meet the head of Hamas? Does he fly into Egypt and take a bus or caravan to Gaza? or does he fly into Tel Aviv and then goes by private auto. If it is Tel Aviv, then I will cancel every contribution to Israel and Jewish causes, and cause my friends and business associates to do the same. I am not surprised at George Galloway. As an exiled Dundonian (as is George Galloway) I well remember a photogragh at about the time Dundee twinned itself with Nablus and when George Galloway was on the council of certain councillors brandishing Kalasnnikovs in Nablus. Although not certain if George Galloway is in the photogragh I am sure you would find it of interest, I think it was published in the early 1980's in the Scottish Sunday Mail (the sister paper of the Daily Record) Check out the story of a similar scandal in the UK (Alder Hey Hospital pathologists used human body parts without seeking permission from relatives) at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alder_Hey_organs_scandal I don't recall George Galloway being particularly vocal on that occasion. But then a consistent viewpoint (other than his visceral hatred of Israel) has never been his strongpoint. Why is it when Israel's do anything such as harrasing prisioners the Media jumps all over it. However, let Hamas or any of those Arabs behead someone or do other atrocious acts very little is said about it in the Media. Israel is the ONLY country in the world that in the middle of a War takes extra precautions to NOT harm civilians. Israel cannot help it if Hamas etc. put civilians around their rockets etc. to protect their rockets and care less about the civilians being killed because those are Military targets and will be hit. Little has been said of Hames bombing Israel towns for months before Israel responded and then the Media had a hayday condeming Israel because they finally retaliated. Doesn"t Galoway and similar kinds fear prosecution for spreading infamy which could harm Jewish People? Maybe we should remember the Alder Hey Hospital scandel in Liverpool also in 1990s when baby body parts were harvested without the parents consent or knowledge. We in this country are not whiter than white. It was probably fairly common practice at that time but a new law has changed that just as it has also changed in Israel. Every time I receive your info it reminds me of the Disney movie Fantasia. Mickey trying to fight the multiplying pails of water and brooms, double, quadruple, etc. We are fighting a one way battle, nobody listen, nobody cares and the hatred rules. Like all the other Jew-hating worms that crawl out from under rocks, they like to make themselves feel important. Even if it isn't true. This guy ought to be sued for defamation. It is very sad and still very real how the Media almost everywhere attacks Israel and always tries to project that Israel is trying to abuse on Palestinians. The truth it is precisely the contrary, Palestinian and Radical Muslims continually try to use savagery to hurt Israeli civilians. Israel will not get fair treatment from most Media until the people realize how bias the Media is. It is imperative that Israel proves to the world in every instance how untruthful the Media is. Any one with ability to disseminate the real truth from the ficticious nonesensense expounded by George Galloway is aware that very many of his comments lack any credibility whatsoever. Tragically Mr. Galloway has some credibility among his electorate and in my opinion seems to play up to peoples prejudices. Here in the US, a libelous, slanderous Galloway would be sued in the public arena and then voted out of office. Period. I'd be curious to see how long Galloway would last spreading his vile manure in an audience of informed literates, especially Israelis! Im so tired of reading what is wrong in the press but nothing what can be done about it. Please, intelligent, educated people give some productive ideas how all the negative, can be changed to a productive, positive action. I would be so happy to help if possible. Shame on Galloway and the daily Record, they can easily compete with the Nazi's desgraceful newspaper-"Der Stiermer". We were naive to believe and hoped that the world changed after the Nazi's, and there will be more honesty,decency and less prejudice. It seems that some people don't change.The truth does't interest them ,only the sensation. Having had a recent trip to Israel and spent time in Sderot (where Hamas are still firing bombs into this beautiful little town) I, at times feel sick when listening to this Galloway fellow's TV show. I try to listen just to see how far he will go with his anti-semetic comments & reporting, but mostly have to turn off...because it is so frustrating & sickening. I live in Australia into which Israel fits approx 400 times, I believe. So tiny...but she gets the blame for everything... When, oh, when will they leave her alone. The bible says that every nation of the world will turn against her...well, we can see this occuring even now. As the Queen observed in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland in response to Alice's assertion that "There's no use trying...one can't believe impossible things...I daresay you haven't had much practice. When I was your age, I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Galloway is a devotee of Hitler's Big Lie Theory. I've seen him deny video taped evidence of his praising Sadaam Hussein & standing with Hamas while they scream out "Death to America, England & Israel" Once again, as Harry Truman use to say " Never try to teach a pig to sing, it can't be done, & it only aggravates the pig". A rabid anti-Israeli is always anti-Israeli in every opportunity. That is given, you don't need to raise charges of libel against them... One thing that seems to be ignored by Galloway supporters and detractors alike is the wastefulness and inefficiency of the whole Viva Palestina operation. According to the Viva Palestina website each of the 500 drivers for the 250 vehicles must provide 1100 Pounds Sterling for expenses, for road tolls, ferry tickets, food, petrol, maintenance, etc. In addition they have to pay for a one-way plane ticket home from Cairo. The vehicles are to be left in Gaza. Are there spare parts for so many different makes and models and petrol for them to be any use in Gaza? Once again money wasted. But the most ridiculous bit seems that the medicine is so close to its expiry date and so improperly protected against the conditions of the journey it may be useless when it arrives. Galloway says as much in his al Jazeera interview. You have to wonder if drugs at the end of their therapeutic lifes are sold at a discount, like baked goods at a supermarket an hour before closing? Now the convoy must drive back to Syria from Aqaba to catch a ferry, all at extra expense. Could the organizers have requested Israel which allows more than 2,500 trucks a month to enter Gaza with humanitarian supplies for assistance, or even the Jordanian Government? We'll never know.
Compare Israel to the University of Pennsylvania Medical School and the Philadelphia Coroner's office, which for 50 years had a relationship where the coroner harvested organs from poor people killed by violence and gave them to the medical school for teaching purposes (when caught, they claimed that examination by the medical students was "part of the autopsy").
