As far as foreign aid and violence, I'll take it a step further.
The Palestinians have a welfare mentality.
If they were ever to make peace with Israel, and form a productive society, they would lose their funding. There is no incentive for peace and self reliance while the bucks keep flowing in. The foreign aid is completely counter productive.
