Johann Hari's Stinking Op-Ed

Relying on a falsified quote and revisionist history, Hari compares Israel to excrement. See HonestReporting UK's latest communique: Johann Hari's Stinking Op-Ed

Comments

Johann Hari's comments are stupid to say the least and are not worthy to be published in any newspaper or periodical.

We have only to look at Mark Twain's description of the barreness of the land in 1897 which was called Palestine and the lack of habitation other than Jewish. Even though Hari admits that he is not concerned with facts, he should realise that it was not the Jews but the Arabs who urged Palestinian communities to leave the re-born Israel, promising them that the Arab nations would wipe out the State and then they couild return. And why do the Arabs not give these Palestinians some of their vast stretches of land? Such comments as Hari's should have no place in a newspaper of any caliber.

After reading Johann Hari's "insightful" article, I just have to wonder if this is the same type of propagandist that the Nazis used in Germany during World War II. There are so many untruths, lies, and editied "quotes" that the article is not worth commenting on. Is Hari anti-Semetic? To me, it is obvious that he is. Hari obviously has an agenda, an truthful professional journalism isn't it.

How could the Israeli's have bombarded population centers before the Arab armies invaded?
They did not have any Airplane's or Artillery to speak of to bomb any population center.
Ben-Gurion newer wrote in 1937 that the Arabs had to go,this is plain BS.
Just those two facts shows that the rest of this article can not betrusted.
But I would like to know why the first name of the writer, of this carbage,is spelled with two N's
Is there an little German connection there?

Only Der Sturmer or the Independent could publish such a distorted, dishonest and bigoted piece as the Hari column.
It is impossible to believe that he is so ignorant of the history of the Middle East rather he is filled with hatred towards the Jews.
The only thing missing is Heil Hitler at the end of the piece.
I doubt that he has the courage to let this appear as a reaction to his article.

I'm not sure why this man even has a job.

Why does HR even acknowledge that particular piece of excrement? Remember the old children's sing-song, "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me?"

That guy isn't even worth bothering us with an "alert."

Just to let you know that the Independent are consoring comments to this article. All three of mine (and they were not impolite or abusive) were removed. So much for 'a right of reply'
