Israel Blacklists Al-Jazeera
Israel's Foreign Ministry is refusing requests to appear on Al-Jazeera to protest its exaggerated coverage of Gaza.
According to the Jerusalem Post, the ministry was partcularly angered by this video of Hamas stongman Mahmoud Zahar thanking Al-Jazeera for their coverage of this week's IDF ground operations.
The ministry is also angered by the network's coverage of Hamas' staged candle protests in January. There's good reason to believe Hamas and Al-Jazeera coordinated events to maximize ratings.
