The BBC's response is simply an Ad Hominem attack... in other words, it's a logical fallacy, and therefore says nothing. Until they respond directly to the conclusions presented by HonestReporting, either by refuting or confirming them, they have not given an adequate response.
An argument stands or falls on its own merit; who proposes it is irrelevant. The BBC needs to deal with the facts, and leave it's rhetoric for the editorial page.

And in my last analysis of HRs pathetic rubbish I said,
"HR is up to it’s old tricks, resorting to blatant lies to fabricate charges of bias."
I note that HR does not deny my findings.
