The rocket attacks do not fall under the "cycle of violence" paradigm. They can't make excuses for it, so they just don't print it.
I think the Israeli response so far has been smart. Do not take the bait, go into Gaza full force and unify the terrorists that are now fighting each other. Selective but strategic quick strikes like we have seen the past two days are effective and do not create Israel as the common enemy.
I can only hope that when the civil war ends, out of the rubble of Gaza will come a real movement toward peace with Israel.

Can't we use drones to locate and bomb the hell out of these animals?
I'm so tired of all this. I try to show this to others, fellow Jews and non Jews and can't get anyone interested. My heart pours out for those who are forced to endure the onslaught of hate and rockets.

CNN Headline News at 1PM today pulled a fast one. As Israel responds to Hamas rockets on Sderot, CNN said that Palestinians have accused Israel of taking advantage of the infighting in Gaza in order to strike at Hamas! In fact, it's just the opposite -- it is Hamas who is trying to unite Palestinians and deflect their focus on their infighting by launching increased missile strikes on Israel.

I've seen shocking pictures from Sderot on "Jerusalem on line", and I fully aprove use of force as reaction on this monster's attacks.

The only explanation of "casam" rocket launch on Sderot is that Palestinians consider turbulences in connection with Olmert's government as a sign of Israel's weakness.
That's wrong,and I'm glad because "IDF" decided to strike back, and attack rocket -launching sites.

Previously, I considered that Olmert, as well as whole government
should be replaced.After shocking pictures from Sderot I don't think so.

in the 1st golf war, we all remember when Palestinian was dancing and cheering, for every Iraqi Scuds missile that hit Israel. Giving the fact that Israel sent Patriot missile to encounter the Scud, So it was very natural, for the Scud (or the Scud+ the Patriot debris), on mid way, to fall strait on Palestinian Towns. That could help the celebration with the extra off “fire crackers”, and perhaps some of them surprisingly, (with the help of Israel), will be found careering biological or chemical warhead, that certainly will add to the party. We all know God of Israel control the nature, so that could be arranged with a bit of help from his nation. And in the and of the day, Saddam be forced to over think his tactics, Israel be left with mach less Palestinian to dance, the deterrence force of Israel will be well respected, nobody can blame Israel or prove anything, and Arabs will finely understand, that Israel have no Limits, and that missile games are dangerous, the same cold be said in the 2nd Lebanon war, on the Catyusha Rackets, launch against Israel by the Hezbollah. Some was falling on Arab Israeli villages, In the north of Israel, and some even reached the Arabs in the Palestinian territory, the north part of Samaria.
So what if many more unrecognized Rackets, even some with chemical or biological warhead, was falling on Arabs villages??? (with the help of the Jewish genus). That mean “with deceptions you should run your war”…..
And now with the Cassam Rackets from Gaza, Israel could be innovative. Some mysterious plague can spared in Gaza, and solve the over crowded problem,

The Israelite been commanded to be creative and deceptive in they war. So let do that!!!

This headline and article is how the bias of the BBC is responsible for creating dislike of Israel throughout the world. "Israel launchs Gaza air strikes." Where was the headline about the Hamas rocket attacks on civilian targets in Sderot that were the cause of the Israeli airstikes? And, in the body of the article, where the Hamas rocket attacks are mentioned, why aren't the attacks called "war crimes", which is what intentional rocket attacks on civilians are?

Where's the context? Where are your reports on the Palestinian rocket attacks on Sderot and other Israeli population centres?

I don't ask favouitism from the BBC - simply full and balanced reporting, which is sadly lacking in recent times.

Please note the anti-Israeli propaganda in the blog section of The Daily Telegraph entitled My Telegraph. It is suggested that the rockets used are merely large fireworks.

Israel should employ PR firms. The Saudis have 14 of them in the US working for them. People not interested in facts are not going to to any research if it nullifies their beliefs. "Americans" for the most part, don't read anything unless it directly affects the entertainment industry.

Clearly the Hamas is trying to create a new mini-conflict between Palestinians (sic)and Israel so as to draw the media attention from the CIVIL WAR going on between them and Fatah factions. World wide media certainly prefer to cover an Israeli-Palestinian conflict rather than a Palestinians X Palestinians one, (even because it is much safer for the reporters covering it...).
Israeli authorities should start using their Jewish DNA borne SMARTNESS and keep LOW PROFILE even under these attacks, in order to
1) Show the world media (SOMEONE has to do it !!!) 2) Let the Hamas X Fatah conflict become bigger and bigger 3) Avoid their "making peace" among themselves to join forces against Israel and 4) Let the terrorists kill each other - and with no intervention by Zahal, sparing our soldiers and getting even better results...

Well , we are definitely experiencing a situation in Gaza unparalleled in history in which hundreds of rockets are launched form a territory completely surrounded by a superior force and yet this superior force is rendered almost paralyzed . In effect the Palestinians are saying to the Israeli : "We can launch our rockets at your cities and send our suicide bombers but you cannot strike back ha, ha, ha! You see we have succeeded in making rockets flying in the direction of Sderot completely invisible to the European an American eyes . Like polarized light, projectiles are only detected in the opposite direction, i.e. when you launch them. Not that we quite understand ourselves how and why this works and why you just don't kill us all in one hour, but since the Battle of Badr we have learned to believe in our power. "

One must not think that the Palestinians are too preoccupied with the thought of why the country which has 40 years ago managed in six days to defeat the combined forces of Egypt, Syria and Jordan is now evacuating Sderot . After all what better example in their eyes of the inherent flaw of the of the unbelievers, than their non response to the 1300 Kassams. Today they will evacuate Sderot tomorrow Ahkelon, Ashod and Be'er Sheva
