Graff's Spree
Norwegian cartoonist Finn Graff compared Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to the infamous Nazi death commander portrayed in Schindler’s List.

The Jerusalem Post reports that the caricature, published in Dagbladet, has raised a storm of controversy and explains the cartoon:
In the cartoon, Olmert is likened to SS Major Amon Goeth, the infamous commandant of the Plaszow death camp outside of Krakow, Poland, who was convicted of mass murder in 1946 and hanged for his crimes.
While in charge of Plaszow, Goeth would go out to the balcony on his villa, and engage in target practice by aiming his telescopic rifle and firing at random at Jews imprisoned there, often killing them.
The scene was famously depicted by director Steven Spielberg in his 1993 film, Schindler's List.

I am certain that this comment will not be posted, but, here it goes. Now that Israel is taking out well marked UN posts (been there since 1972) perhaps the US will realize the error of their ways and ban with the rest of the World community in declaring a cease fire. Why must Lebanon be sacrifised for the good of Israel?
Yours respectfuly,
Ashamed Canadian Jew.

Does that mean, that like the Muslims, we can organise a global protest and burn Norwegian flags?
The Norwegians won't allow cartoons about Muslims, so why this and now?

This cartoon is outrageous! The country of Israel is equated with Nazism for defending itself? This comes from insane anti-semitics who obviously hate Israel.
After all if Israel defend themselves they would be wiped off the face of the Earth. This is what Fin Graff and the rest of the real Nazis want.

To our ashamed co-religionist in Canada.
Be notashamed. Be proud. The IDF is the only army in the world which takes care to announce its intentions so that civilians can leave in advance of a military strike.
On the other side of the coin the cowards of Hezbollah hide behind the skirts of women and children and deliberately site their nefarious activities near to and even within UN facilities.
It is an unfortunate fact that in war innocent civilians get killed on both sides. However the UN has not covered itself in glory by failing to ptoect both Israeli and Lebanese civilians and is in may ways the prime cause of the current grief
