Monday, May 15 2006This Is Languishing?
The youths, mostly teenage boys, are taking the dangerous measure in part because they say it is easier to study for exams in an Israeli prison than it is at home in the West Bank. Some also want to escape family hardship and deepening poverty. If the Palestinians don’t believe prisoners are languishing, why should the media? (Hat tip: Judith Apter Klinghoffer)

They ran a pro Palestinian interview with a terrorist's mother, she was happy her son was dead but bitterly complained that she now lost 3 hours each way at the checkpoint to get to her job. Just how stupid are they??? How many Palestinians depend on Israel for the basics of life? It seems to me, an English C of E man that the Muslems are going to go for word domination, and they cannot even feed themselves without us infadels. While I have no connection with Israel or the Jewish faith, we are most definately on the same side. Personally, I am aggravated by the behavior of our securtiy system in allowing this sort of fraud to be perpetuated. That my tax shekels are used to "keep" these young fellows "safe" -- they won't be blowing themselves up inside jail, now will they -- is an unbearable affront.
