And you are surprised that a Catholic country would have people with such views. A friend on a recent visit to Vietnam heard the same thing from a person who had never met a Jew. Thank the Church again. Then there is the issue in Mexico with Levy ( their Social Security Minister ) who just resigned after an anti -semitic hate campaign by the Unions and on and on. Catholic Church, Catholic Country = Anti Semitism. Rome's words haven't reached their people.

I am very disapointed that
Honestreporting.com chose to help this itsi bitsi publication of which most readers I am sure never heard tobecome known. To make it even worse to print most of the trash that the unknown magazine wrote. I never would know or read what this nothing publication wrote if it did not get reprinted in this circulation or even publish his picture
Honestreporting.com could coment on this antusemetic publisher without puting it on the world map
The aditor needs help that can think.
I am very dissapointed

Sounds like to much Murphys. It's amazing what to much of the Ale does to one's brain.

Justin Keating has written his thoughts for all to see. Unfortunately for him, he seems to be picking his fight with Almighty God and not with any human being who can do anything about the issues involved.
If God is God ... and I believe He is .. then Justin Keating simply is in denial of 'mountains of prophetic evidence' that He is working out His purposes whether we like it or not !

May I respond to David Zapiler. The problem is that the rabbit is out of the hat once Keating's view has been published. Silence confers acknowledgement and approval. Honest Reporting is right to draw everyone's attention to this vindictive and inaccurate portrayal of Israel for two reasons. One it exposes the malice so that all right thinking people can make a judgement, and secondly it gives us the opportunity to repudiate the lies, which I have done.

I suggest you all send an e-mail to this so-called culture magazine. That is what I just did. And get your friends to do the same. This is not some inconsequential magazine as alluded to in one of the postings here. It is read widely in Ireland. I'm not sure this has to do so much with Catholicism as it does with Ireland itself. This would not be written in Italy, I believe.

The Israeli Embassy in Ireland has a very effective spokesperson.
The editor of "The Dubliner" has so far received 2000 emails.
A snippet from his email:
The Jewish Telegraph’s front page this week features the anti-Israel, anti-Semitic rhetoric that has appeared recently in some Irish publications
See www.jewishtelegraph.co.uk
The Media monitoring group, Honest Reporting, circulated a bulletin that refuted the article that appeared in The Dubliner Magazine by former Irish Labour Minister, Justin Keating who questions Israel’s right to exist in the November edition. See www.honestreporting.com. The editor of the Dubliner claims to have received 2000 mails in relation to this piece.
