British media and anti-semitism
In today's HR communique, we noted the recent Israeli government report on a dramatic rise in anti-semitic acts in Great Britain, and the statement of Natan Sharansky that the British media is directly to blame for this growing problem.
Sharansky specifically named The Guardian, BBC and The Independent as worthy of criticism. The Guardian reported the accusation, as did The Independent. Nothing yet from the Beeb on this matter, but in a related matter, BBC Jerusalem bureau deputy chief Simon Wilson is being refused re-entry to Israel for participating in an illegal interview with Mordechai Vanunu. The videotaped Vanunu interview was smuggled out of Israel, in defiance of Israeli law.

Listed below are links to weblogs that reference British media and anti-semitism:
The Independent seems quite proud of its Jew hatred.
At a weekend news conference to launch the report, the Diaspora Affairs minister, Natan Sharansky, said: "It is impossible to ignore the incitement in the British media against Israel ... when the British Independent publishes a caricature of Sharon eating Palestinian children, we need not be surprised at the results."
A complaint to the Press Complaints Commission against the cartoon, published in 2003, was not upheld. The cartoon, by Dave Brown, was later named as political cartoon of the year by the Political Cartoonists' Society.

Whatever we might think about BBC World's treatment of the Middle East, we should be thankful for its coverage of the 60th Anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz death camp. The sight of the gas chambers, cattle trucks and crematoria give clear visual proof that vermin like Lipmann and his bosses at The Spectator have perpetrated a gross and malicious blood libel against the Jews and all those who suffered in the Holocaust by allowing the odious comparison to be made with Jenin.

Read Michael Drosnin "The Bible code", look at the numerous articles against Islam in Norman Podhorez´magazine Commentary and in Weekly Standard, the magazine from William Kristol, look at Dschihad Watch of Robert Spencer, look at http://www.faithfreedom.org. Think about Ariel Cohen, Charles Krauthammer, Raddatz, give attention to Falwell, Graham, Pat Robertson etc.. Look at the methods of "Holy Mr. Bush", read the books of the members of his government, look in your own magazines. Oh, be ashamed, be ashamed! Auschwitz was the biggest crime in the world, but what you are doing in your magazines, with your tortures, with your destroying the UNO, with the intention of preemptive wars, with "Pax Americana" realised by "World War IV" could really be the next one.

Love that "Oh, be ashamed, be ashamed":)
Nice! Elisabeth, since you take incitement against people as something so terrible, how many "Oh, be ashamed, be ashamed" comments did you send to pro-Palestinian web-sites regarding their incitements against Jews and against Israeli civilians?
Let me guess, they don't need to be ashamed of their murderous sentences of hate. I bet u did not send them even one such comment.
Maybe You should be ashamed of yourself...
Never mind, of course you will not be. You're on the side of the murderers (they're the true victims, naturally). "Auschwitz was the biggest crime but what are you doing in your magazines":) lol. Your humanity and caring seems so sincere. How about telling Palestinians and their supporters "Auschwitz was the biggest crime, but what are you doing in your magazines and in your support and applause of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Arafat? Those who deliebrately and proudly blow-up and gun down groups of civlians."
Be ashamed, Elisabeth.

Interestingly "Elisabeth Hollik" has an email address in Austria (@aon.at) - birthplace of a certain Herr Hitler.
"Oh, be ashamed, be ashamed" Frau/Fraulein Hollik!

Ms. Hollik should be ashamed about the fact that before she published her remarks she failed to read Jack's post situated immediately above hers.

In reading information about the Jewish people in the last 50-60 years, they are incline to say that Gentiles are Anti-Jewish when making printed news in reference to Jewish values. The world is 99.8% non-Jewish, big value difference !
