The ISM is a schizophrenic organisation. It claims to be a peace movement but its website states that it supports Palestinian “armed struggle”. If we look at the organisations involved in this armed struggle we find the likes of Fatah and its various offshoots, Hamas and Islamic Jihad - each of them having among its aims the destruction of Israel by violent means.

The ISM doesn't demonstrate against the armed thugs on the Palestinian side who terrorise and kill innocents and demean their own civil society in the process. It demonstrates only against the side that defends its citizens against those whose aim is not to end occupation but to use violence to destroy their adversary.

So, if Ms. Jasciewicz or someone else of her ilk tells you that she is part of a movement that seeks coexistence between Palestinians and Israelis, then think twice about her message and ask yourself who really is enmeshed in social psychosis and a false reality.

This is some peacenik!

In Israel she may have been detained, but in the PA territory she would have been beaten (if she is lucky) or murdered for writing anything other than the official line. But that doesn't matter, because The Guardian is only interested in de-legitimising Israel.

This journalist is an Anti-Semite posing as a freedom fighter. The Guardian readers will love it!

They're at it again today: check this article http://www.guardian.co.uk/israel/comment/0,10551,1292754,00.html by Karma Nabulsi (and if you really want to know what the hunger strike is about, check here: http://www.addameer.org/hunger_strike/demands.html

Fridges, air-conditioning and knives in every cell!

I read their latest anti-Israel diatribe from Karma Nabulsi. She stated that amongst other things in a three day operation in Nablus innocent civillians were shot at random routinely. No casualty figures or examples given but hey, if a paper wants to put itself in the gutter then why should we complain?

I read Ms. Jasciewicz's article in the Guardian with disbelief. Does anyone know if she has addressed human rights and freedoms within the self-administered PA areas in the same fashion?
